The Ferrier Family Life Trail is a 1900-foot paved walking and jogging trail around the Twin Lakes Park Peach Plaza Expansion Area with 7 fitness stations along the way. There are three different exercises at each fitness station, including one wheelchair accessible exercise. The Ferrier Family Life Trail is scientifically designed for people aged 50 and older, but anyone of any age can use it. Funding for this project was provided by the Ferrier Family Legacy Fund of the Community Foundation of Westmoreland County, affiliated with the Pittsburgh Foundation.
The Life Trail Advanced Wellness System with its walking/jogging path and 7 fitness stations is built on the principles of functional fitness; the progressively challenging exercises are patterned after the twists, turns and movements of everyday life. Directions to the Ferrier Family Life Trail
The Ferrier Family Life Trail at the Twin Lakes Park Peach Plaza Expansion Area is located across from 1087 Georges Station Road, Greensburg, PA 15601. Follow Donohoe Road from the traffic light at Westmoreland Mall. At the four way stop, turn left on to Georges Station Rd. After crossing the railroad tracks, turn right onto Streetpark Loop.
